Welcome to my website!My name is Napat Jitpaisarnwattana and I have recently finished an MSt in English Language Assessment specialising in mahcine learning and automated assessment at the University of Cambridge, UK. I have a PhD in Applied Linguistics from the Department of Language Studies, School of Liberal Arts, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi. My thesis entitled “Understanding Personalisation and Social Interaction in a Langauge MOOC was successfully defended in October 2021. I finished my master of Science in Teaching English Language in University Settings at Oxford University and a master in Digital Language and Literacies from Lancaster University. I also hold a full-time post at Faculty of Archaeology, Silpakorn University in Thailand and teach IELTS and SAT for high school students at Ignite by Ondemand In my research, I am very much interested in the role of technology in language education. My PhD dissertation on Language Massive Open Online Courses (LMOOCs) was suprvised by Professor Dr. Hayo Reinders and Associate Professor Dr. Pornapit Darasawang. My current research interests include technology and learing-oriented assessment, human-dimension in CALL, teacher-AI collaboration, leanring analytics and educational data mining.
